Archie the Parrot. A murder mystery.
Dave Gallagher is a man in a tight spot. He's an artist who has been evicted from his apartment, and he needs to find a home to live in fast. When he paints a portrait of the beautiful Alicia Hockney, she tells him her parents are looking for a tenant to rent their Victorian mansion. Dave seizes the opportunity, but there's a catch: he must look after their parrot Archie. When Dave moves into the house, Alicia goes missing. Dave finds himself at the centre of a police investigation into a missing woman which ends in murder. The only witness to the incident is Archie, but he refuses to talk...
